Meet your new yoga teacher

Updated: Jun 13, 2023

Hi, I'm Lisette - welcome.

Hello! Let me introduce myself - I’m Lisette, an Occupational Therapist and 200hr qualified yoga teacher practicing online and in the North Wales area.

I provide yoga classes and discuss wellness topics in a way that is inclusive and accessible to everyone.

I am currently offering in person yoga for all, and specialist classes in the North Wales area (Rhyl and Llandudno) in an accessible studio space.

Have you ever felt excluded or underrepresented from the yoga community, or put off from starting yoga because you feel that you’ll never achieve what you’re seeing from yoga influencers online?

I’m here to promote the message that everyone, absolutely everyone can do yoga, regardless of your condition or ability.

If you can breathe, you can do Yoga. KRISHNAMACHARYA

I’m betting that at some point in your life you have experienced some kind of health issue where you felt restricted, that might have been anxiety and depression or physical injury that required time to heal. Did you feel like you were able to continue your usual health routines or fitness classes? Or maybe you felt excluded all together. Being excluded in your meaningful occupations in your daily life can contribute further to illness and can really push your healing journey back.

There’s currently 19%, or 9.8 million people on average who are registered as disabled in the UK alone, so considering 20% of the population has a registered disability, It’s disappointing to see how underrepresented that population is even within the wellness communities.

I’m an advocate of yoga for all with the aim of making wellbeing accessible and ensure this is an inclusive space regardless of your ability, to reap the countless scientifically backed benefits of yoga and other wellness practices on improving your physical and mental health.

I love offer creative flows which are inclusive of various abilities and my passion is to share knowledge and research on all wellbeing topics.

Whether you’re a student or an experienced teacher, I’ll be sharing information and researching ways we can engage everyone to be part of the yoga community.

If this aligns with you, then I'd love for you to click below and follow my social media pages for updates of classes and new blog posts!
